Stopped by solo on Wednesday vinyl night while travelling in town for work. Great new beers and solid, small atmosphere. Friendly and informative staff creating welcoming environment, and enjoyable discussions about all things music and beer.
Mighty tasty beers, how you doing taday?
Spent the day in Timmins and thought I'd try both Compass Brewing and Full Beard Brewing. Went to full beard first and was blown away at the subtle flavours and amazing variety.I was sadly disappointed by the flavours of the beers at Compass did not match my tastes as I thought were not very full flavoured and sadly of the five beers I tried, none of them I would buy again.I hope they improve the quality of the beers to match the hype around Timmins for this brewery.Due to an informative response by the owners I've thought about my review above and decided to add the following:This is a great local alternate to some of the more famous brews such as Sleeman or Labatt, I look forward to trying some of the brews I didn't have.
Brand new little place, though it is a little hard to see from the road, make the effort to spot it! Great beer and hospitality! If you are in Timmins, stop to try a flight and bring some home, we did!
Will say being in NS probably wont get to make it to the shop. However having spent some of my childhood and more memorable years in Timmins I contacted the guys via Twitter and they actually responded too boot they werent even open yet. Hopefully things go amazing for them and I can find I way to make the boys out here jealous. Id give it five stars but have only experienced the service not the product so judge for yourself
