Some staff are very helpful, some not at all. No one could help me with a simple fishing license. They had two large camping backpacks in stock that I needed for a trip, but could never find them. They wouldn't order any because they said they were technically in stock. The manager said she would find them for us and call us back. We called once a day for three days and she told us each time that she hadn't checked yet but would eventually. She eventually told us to go to another Canadian Tire because she didn't have time to look. We eventually went to the Sudbury Canadian Tire about 4 hours away.
Your typical Canadian Tire but their Plumbing section is very poor in stock on hand. Always find myself having to go to Home Depot to get the remaining items I need. Their Plumbing section bins are such a mess, never assume that what you grabbed is what's on the Shelf label. Been burnt too many times. I've given up complaining to the department managers
Has most items that you would expect to find but the customer service is just poor from many of the newer and younger staff. It is of my opinion it comes from lack of leadership within the company. The older and more mature staff members are curtious, and generally want to be helpful as it is in the their personal nature, they take pride in their work and far to may do not.
Owner has mental health issues, or a severe personality disorder. Many people I've spoken with confirm my statement. Corporate told me they have no control over this independently owned, and operated Store. Canadian Tire itself, I LOVE!
